WATCH: Aspire To Glory set for his second turf start of the summer

18 Jun 2024
Aspire To Glory has been declared for his second run of the summer, in the Class 6 Handicap over a mile (17:10) at Ripon on Thursday.

The Alice Haynes-trained gelding made his first start in just over 100 days at the end of May, where he finished a solid fourth at Leicester, in what was his also his first start on turf in almost nine months. Following that outing, the handicapper dropped him a pound in the weights, meaning he's back down to his last winning mark.

Our three-year-old has been impressing at home in his recent work, with Darragh Keenan putting him through his paces on the gallops at Newmarket. Keenan has also been booked to ride Aspire To Glory in Thursday's contest, which will be the second race he's taken the reins on him in.
