A drop in trip and addition of headgear could be on the cards for Aspire To Glory after disappointing at Wolverhampton | Raceday Highlights
Jockey George Wood took the reins on our five-year-old for the first time becoming Aspire To Glory's third new partner in as many runs for new trainer Dylan. The pair were drawn close to the inside in stall five and having broken from the gates relatively well, Wood settled Aspire To Glory in midfield for the first half of the race. Coming out of the first two bends at Dunstall Park, Aspire To Glory was sat in seventh position, around a length away from the leading group who took the early initiative.

As they turned for home, the favourite in the contest, Street Dancer, sprinted away from the 12 other runners under the guidance of Oisin Murphy and never looked back, claiming the win by 2½ lengths. In contrast, Aspire To Glory was unable to make any impression despite the urging from George Wood as they approached the final furlong and the pair eventually came home in tenth spot.

We caught up with trainer Dylan Cunha this morning and he told us that Aspire To Glory had pulled up fine after the race and eaten up well following his run. Hopefully it won't be too long before we see him back out on track again where he can hopefully show more of his form levels from last year.
We know he has the ability given he was the club's most prolific horse last year, but he hasn't always been the easiest horse to get right, so hopefully with some more time at home Dylan can work his magic and get him back to winning ways.
