WATCH: Members get to meet trainers and jockeys at Coral Lanzarote event

Last Saturday we hosted over 100 members and guests of the Coral Racing Club in the exclusive Coral Racing Club lounge following on from the recent competition for the Coral Lanzarote Hurdle. A private bar and tasty food buffet were available for all, and it’s fair to say everyone had some of the best seats in the house as they watched on from the private terrace balcony which overlooked the finish line.

Everyone was delighted to be greeted by a selection of familiar names, with Joe Tizzard, Jonjo O’Neill Jnr, Brendan Powell and former Cheltenham Gold Cup-winning jockey, Andrew Thornton, all making an appearance.

Joe gave members the latest word on West End Boy and told some fascinating stories about their family operation at Venn Farm. And later on in the day, Jonjo O’Neill Jnr was on cloud nine as he spoke on stage following his superb ride on Collectors Item for his dad.

As the day came to a close, we were delighted to see so many smiles on the faces of our members and their guests. Our next trip to Kempton is for the Coral Trophy on Saturday 25th February where we have another 150 pairs of hospitality tickets up for grabs with our latest competition – click here to enter.
