We're excited to bring Coral Racing Club members the news that our two-year-old filly, Katalyst, has been declared by the William Muir and Chris Grassick team to make her racecourse debut on Tuesday evening at Newbury.

The daughter of Royal Ascot winner, A'Ali, joined the club back in April and was officially named by one of our Coral Racing Club members through a series of competitions just a few weeks later.

Over the past couple of months the team at Linkslade Stables in Lambourn have been gradually putting her through her paces, with the last couple of weeks involving the most intense work on the gallops to bring her right up to speed for her racecourse debut.

On Tuesday she'll head to Newbury for the Class 4 Fillies' Restricted Novice Stakes (18:15) and she'll face 14 rivals in what looks a competitive heat with plenty of interesting newcomers. We're delighted to have the talented apprentice jockey, Connor Planas, booked to ride, who has been in the saddle on board Katalyst in plenty of her work at home already.
