Lady Mendoza entered at Newcastle next week – latest update from Rebecca Menzies
It’s a 0-105 race for mares over 2m 4f, and she ran a cracker on her debut for us over this course and distance back in November, so it looks a really good opportunity for her.
The forecast looks pretty dry over the weekend too, so all being well conditions should be absolutely perfect for her.
Donald McCain has a few entered, and Lucinda Russell has one in there too, so there are some strong stables represented at this stage, but we’ll track the declarations and as long as conditions don’t deteriorate there then we’ll look to take our chance.
I’ll keep everybody updated if there’s any change of plan, but all being well, I look forward to meeting the lucky owners for the day at Newcastle next Tuesday.
