Lady Mendoza was entered for a race at Perth on Saturday evening, but unfortunately we’ve had to decide to miss it.

A few of my horses just aren’t 100% right now, we’ve had a group of the winter jumpers come back into the yard and they can bring little bugs with them, which then means some of the others just aren’t firing as we’d like them to be, and Lady M is in this category. She’s good, but not in the form she should be and she’s just a little bit lacklustre.

So we won’t head to Perth, instead we’ll get her right at home and aim her at a race at Cartmel on the Bank Holiday Monday later this month. She’s not on any antibiotics like some of them are, so we shouldn’t lose too much time, and once she’s bouncing again we’ll be good to go.
