Three exciting new additions set to bolster the Coral Racing Club stable for 2026
Following the retirement of both Lady Mendoza and Rockstar Icon, we're delighted to bring you the news that we will soon be fully unveiling three new two-year-olds who'll be joining Aspire To Glory, Cast No Shadow, Katalyst and Phoenix Of Dreams as part of our team for the flat.
Hugo Palmer, who currently trains Cast No Shadow, will train our new colt (above) by Land Force and out of Kirrin Island who is a half brother to the yard’s Miss Piggle.
Oliver Cole, who was the trainer of Rockstar Icon, will train our first new filly by Sergei Prokofiev and out of Chloris who is a dam of two winners so far as a broodmare.
Chris Grassick, who currently trains Katalyst, will train our second new filly (below), also by Sergei Prokofiev and out of Katalea, making her a half sister to Katalyst.

Stay tuned for the next update on the Coral Racing Club as we look to bring you full introductions on our three new stablemates, who as you may have guessed will all need naming by you, our very own members.
That means we'll soon be launching a series of exciting 'Name Your Horse' competitions as we've done previously for the likes of Aspire To Glory and Cast No Shadow which will give you the chance to name all three and win the chance to head to their debut race as one of their owners for the day.
