In the latest video update from Whatcombe Stables, trainer Oliver Cole explains why they've had to continue with the patient approach with Rockstar Icon ahead of his long-awaited return to action.

Our four-year-old has continued to struggle with some asthmatic symptoms due to the high pollen levels, so the team have had to hold off from pushing him any harder than some fast canters in his recent work.

The plan is to scope him later this week and if he gets the all clear, he'll likely progress to be put through some strong gallop work which will help gauge how close he is to making his first run of the year.
