West End Boy in full work again as debut run nears
As a result, in ten days or so we can start to look for races for him. As we’ve said here before, we’ll look to go straight over hurdles now, rather than have a run in a Bumper. He’s done plenty of schooling at home, I’m more than happy with how it’s gone, and he’ll learn plenty more on the track, especially in those first couple of runs.
There are plenty of entries for all the novice hurdles right now, as we all look to catch up on the time we lost before Christmas - we’ve been running two in some of these races recently – but as long we don’t lose too many more meetings, things should settle down soon enough and we’ll be able to pick the right opportunity for his debut run.
