West End Boy comes closer to making Coral Racing Club debut
West End Boy is in good nick, and training well, although we weren’t able to school him during the recent cold spell because of the frozen ground. We’re all fine now though so we’ll give him a good schooling session this week, alongside his usual work on the gallops.
Once again we’ve all been playing catch up with regard to running our horses after the week of cancellations, but hopefully we’re all clear now and we’ll find a good opportunity for this fellow in the next fortnight or so. As we’ve said before, we’ll go straight over hurdles now, we’ve done plenty with him at home so a run in a Bumper would be a wasted run now.
Joe Tizzard, Coral Racing Club Trainer
As soon as we hear more from Joe on West End Boy's potential debut, we'll have an Owner for the Day competition available to enter – so keep an eye out for that.
