WATCH: Brendan Powell catches up with West End Boy
Brendan was brimming with positive comments on how West End Boy "felt really good" whilst sitting on him for the first time since his summer break, and how he was super keen to get on with things as soon as they got onto the gallops, which is a really good sign that he's happy to be back into work.
West End Boy finished last season off with a promising 2nd-place finish at Wincanton on just his third start for the club. The winner was impressive that day, but West End Boy still did well to pull six and a half lengths clear of the horse who finished in third. As a result of that run, West End Boy was given an official handicap mark of 99, and there's plenty of hope that he can look to make the most of that in this upcoming season.
