We're thrilled to welcome Group 1 winning trainers, William Muir and Chris Grassick, to the Coral Racing Club team.

William trained over 700 winners in his career as a trainer before Chris joined the licence in 2021 following a three-year spell with Archie Watson. Chris is the son of Martin Grassick, who owns Carisbrook Stud Farm which is where our very own Annie Mc has been since giving birth to her Doctor Dino colt last summer.

Many members will probably recognise William and Chris from the performances of Pyledriver, who won the Group 1 Coronation Cup at Epsom in 2021 and the Group 1 King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes at Ascot a year later, and those victories were what really put the pair on the map.

They don't have the biggest yard at Linkslade, but what that means is they can give more attention and effort into to the horses that they do have, and that's going to be a real benefitting factor with the club's new two-year-old.
