Hey Day Baby came out of her debut run really well. She only needed a couple of quiet days to get over the Southwell experience, which was great to see, and meant we were able to kick on with her.

We were really pleased with how she ran that day. For a first run she showed a lovely attitude and will have learned plenty.

We’ve schooled her over hurdles this week, and it’s gone well, so we’ll probably look for her next run to be in a hurdles race. All being well we can look for that race from next week, she’s really come forward in the last few weeks, so we can now make up for a bit of lost time.
