Rebecca Menzies has taken the decision to not declare Lady Mendoza for her intended race at Catterick on Thursday due to ground concerns.

In her previous update, Rebecca mentioned that if the ground was going to be too testing, then our mare would skip the race and the team would look for a different target when the conditions improve.

She specifically noted that Lady Mendoza ran at Catterick on bottomless ground last year and didn't enjoy it at all, which also contributed to the decision to pull her out of the race. 

Hopefully conditions will improve in the coming weeks and we can get her back on track, as we know she goes well after a break.
