Lady Mendoza is in really fantastic order, and she’s a pleasure to train. We gradually stepped up her work towards the back end of last week, and she’s taken it all in her stride, so I couldn’t be happier with her if I’m honest.

She looks a million dollars at the moment, so we are all on track for her next run over Christmas time. As we’ve said before, we have the race at Musselburgh on the 19^th December, but if conditions aren’t to her liking that day, we have a few on Boxing Day to consider also.

In terms of the stable form, the last few weeks have been very frustrating. The horses have been running well, but we’ve had plenty of near misses in recent days, but hopefully it won’t be long till our luck changes, and we are getting our head in front once again.

We are due some frost this week up here, so hopefully that doesn’t inconvenience us too much, but the main thing is that the horses seem fit and healthy. In addition to Lady Mendoza, we have quite a few to look forward to over the festive period, so hopefully it will be a really productive time for us.
