Cast No Shadow and Ribbon Is A Dancer are both nearing their return to the racecourse, and Hugo Palmer has filled us in on his plans for the pair.

Cast No Shadow has been off the track since the end of January after running three times in the space of two months between December and January. Following his short break, he could be set to return to his favourite destination, Newcastle, in the not too distant future, and he'll be set to run off a career low mark of 69 after being dropped 2lb by the handicapper after his last disappointing performance.

Ribbon Is A Dancer has been dealing with an issue with one of his feet, and after a period of treatment, he's ready to get back to work on the gallops at Manor House. Prior to that, he'll be gelded, and then Hugo will look for a suitable target for his return.
