Cast No Shadow is a five-year-old bay gelding, who was foaled on February 10th 2021 and is trained by Hugo Palmer. His sire, Ardad, was a top class juvenile sprinter whose biggest victory came in the Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes, and he became a Group 1-winner as a sire when his son Perfect Power won the Prix Morny, the first of his three top level wins.

He has won twice and finished in the top three on another three occasions, earning over £17,000 in prize money, with both victories coming on the all-weather at Newcastle over five furlongs. In 2026 he will continue to be targeted at competitive handicaps on the all-weather over five and six furlongs.
